By car:
Via the A1 direction Amsterdam. At the Amsterdam ring choose direction Amsterdam Noord (North). The follow the exit signs S114 ' Artis'. Continue at 'general description' below. From Utrecht:
Via the A2 direction Amsterdam exit sign S114 "Artis". Continue at 'general description' below.
From Haarlem:
Via de A9 direction Amsterdam / Den Haag. Choose the A4 at 'knooppunt Badhoevedorp'; Amsterdam Zuid. Follow the A4 direction Amsterdam. Continue at 'From The Hague'.
From The Hague:
Via the A4 direction Amsterdam. At the Amsterdam ring choose for the ring Amsterdam Zuid (South). Follow direction Amersfoort. Then choose exit sign S114 'Artis'. Continue at 'general description' below.
General description:
Continue through the Piet Hein tunnel. Choose the left lane in the tunnel, exit sign S100 'Zeeburg/Artis/Centrum Oostzijde' (East). Stay on the S100 'Centrum ring' until you see the signs S100 'Artis/Centrum Oostzijde' again. At the roundabout opposite the Tropenmuseum (you will see it at the lefthand side) you will take a right, crossing the Muidergracht past the Muiderpoort. This is the Plantage Middenlaan (S113). Take a right at the second traffic light (Plantage Parklaan). And then take a right at the first street (Henri Polaklaan).
Parking:
Guests can use the free parking space in front of our office, provided there is room. If not, then you can always use the parking lot of Artis Zoo. In that case you should take a right at the traffic lights at the first crossing of the Plantage Middenlaan (Plantage Kerklaan). At the end of this short road (after passing the main entrance of Artis Zoo), you will find the parking lot at the righthand side. Parking tickets are for sale for € 8,- at the Artis reception.
